About Us
Background
The Living Gospel World Mission Church Polokwane was established by the late Pastor Salani Paul Chauke and his wife, Mosibudi Miriam Chauke, in their house (157 Diemeer St., Bendor Park, Polokwane). It was officially launched on 16 April 2005 by the founder of the Living Gospel World Mission, Dr. M.P. Ragimana, and is one of more than 60 branches nationwide. The launch was coupled with the dedication of the Pastoral residence, of which more than 500 people attended.
The event was preceded by a 3-day revival, which was conducted by Pastor Singo of the Free Church Ministries at the Career Base. After the launch, the assembly became fully-fledged and started holding services at the pastor’s new residence at 95 Wilge St., Flora Park, Polokwane.
On Sunday the 18th of March 2007, the church moved to a new venue, viz. Tswane University of Technology (Market St., Polokwane, next to Game shopping complex).
Pastor Salani Paul Chauke passed away on 23 October 2007. The church is now led by his wife, Pastor Mosibudi Miriam Chauke.
Our Pastor
"After praying about it and receiving confirmation that indeed I was called, I realised that this is not about me - this is God’s work and I am merely a vessel."
